BFFF REGIONAL SEMINARS – OCTOBER 2011

The latest round of BFFF regional seminars held in October at Edgbaston near Birmingham and Hampden Park, Glasgow proved another great success.

We were pleased to see 35 of our member companies PLUS a further 19 potential new member companies over the two days. In total over 80 delegates attended one of the two days.

The content of the seminars included an introduction to BFFF and its membership services, a review of our promotional activities for both retail and foodservice and a run through of our events from Brian and Graeme. We also had Guest presentations by Alan Marr of Aulds Delicious Desserts and Nigel Broadhurst of Iceland at Hampden Park, Peter Allan of Cargill Meats Europe and Andy Breffitt of Hopwells at Edgbaston.

We are now following up on the good interest shown from these potential new member companies. Member companies also benefited from networking and exhibitors from the exposure with many now reporting good enquiries.

The next round of seminars will be held in Autumn 2012 – more details to follow once dates and venues established.
