Rectory Foods, global supplier of quality poultry and food ingredients, has launched a new range of frozen chicken products for the foodservice sector under its Hot Chicken Company (HCC) brand.
The twelve-strong HCC range offers premium chicken breast fillet pieces of coated chicken, in three popular styles – Southern Fried, Breaded or Battered. It features breast fillets, goujons, bites, strips, wings, Hot Rox and Pop Rox, all made with quality whole muscle chicken breast. There is also a range of frozen steam-cooked chicken breast fillets, strips and cubes, perfect for fresh salads and sandwiches.
The HCC Jumbo Chicken Fillet Bites (20-30g) are coated in a light tempura batter and can be served as a main course or starter. Chefs can also get creative and use them as a basis for Indian-style chicken pakoras, or add them to a sweet and sour sauce for an Oriental dish. Each 1kg bag contains enough for eight average-sized portions.
HCC’s Southern Fried Chicken Goujons, Wingos and Crispy Breaded Chicken Goujons (40-60g each), will spice up menus in pubs and bars. Serve them as a starter or as part of a sharing platter with dips for groups, families and parties.
The HCC Southern Fried Chicken Fillet (150g) is coated in a unique blend of breadcrumbs, herbs and spices with a kick from spices and peppers. For a more subtle flavour, HCC offers an American Crispy Chicken Fillet, 90g, and a Breaded Chicken Fillet (150g). All three are best served on a bun with salad or as a main course with side dishes.
HCC’s Premium Pop Rox (8-13g) are ideal for a popcorn-style dish for kids’ menus and the Jumbo Hot Rox (16-24g) have a spicy coating and are great for adults as a starter or as part of a sharing platter.
Available in 1kg bags, the versatile fully-cooked range of HCC chicken products are quick and easy for busy chefs to prepare as they can be oven cooked for 12-20 minutes or deep fried in 3-6 minutes.
The quality, taste and texture of each product is guaranteed for up to twelve months when kept frozen in a cold store.
Rectory Foods also offers a range of frozen cooked chicken breast products. Once defrosted, the HCC cubes, strips, and whole breast fillets are perfect for adding to salads, sandwiches, and wraps as well as pies, pizzas and pasta dishes.
The HCC range will add appeal to menus in pubs, bars, restaurants, hotels, catered events and other foodservice outlets. In addition, sandwich makers, bakers and food manufacturers can use the products to develop premium chicken dishes and snacks.
