Caterforce Appoints Buying Director to drive Group’s Grocery Ambitions
Caterforce Ltd, the consortium which provides buying and marketing services for its six leading Independent Regional Foodservice Wholesaler Members is pleased to announce the appointment of Nick Redford as Buying Director with effect from 2 August. Nick joins Caterforce from Makro where he has been Head of Buying for Ambient and Beers, Wines & Spirits since February 2007. Nick has gained a wealth of experience on grocery over the past 13 years which will be invaluable in his new role at Caterforce. His initial focus will be on aggressively developing the Members’ foodservice grocery business; building upon the substantial business that has already been achieved.
Allen Watts, Managing Director, stated “I am very much looking forward to working with Nick over the coming months. It is the intention that Nick should take on board the total responsibility for the Caterforce group buying. John Woolfenden, Buying Manager, will focus on Frozen and Chilled and will report to Nick”.
