2013 NEW PRODUCT AWARDS FOR FROZEN FOODS NOW LAUNCHED

Our Awards Scheme's unique judging format has regional panels of consumers deciding the Retail results, whilst the Catering Sector is judged by members of the highly respected Craft Guild of Chefs which sets it apart from all other competitions and is only open to our members.  The Awards Scheme is now in its twenty-sixth year and is the definitive awards for the frozen food industry.

Each member company may enter both branded and own label products into both the Retail AND Catering sectors.

To ensure the smooth running of the Awards Scheme and to maximise coverage in the trade press for winning entries, we really do need any background information that you have on each of your entries, eg. product specification sheets, key product features, research findings.

Please ensure that Retail entry forms are accompanied by retail flat packs and that each Catering entry is accompanied by a digital product image and preparation/cooking instructions. The judges require this information and entries cannot proceed to the judging stage without them. Please ensure this material is sent with your entry form

In 2012, the Catering Product of the Year was awarded to McCain Foods (GB) Ltd. for their “McCain Signatures” Gastro Chips, whilst Aldi UK received the Retail Product of the Year for their “Northern Catch® Select” Large Salmon Wellington with a Cheese & Dill Sauce.
