Adrian Cooper is the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental manager within Norbert Dentressangle Logistics UK, dedicated to Temperature Controlled Food.

Norbert Dentressangle is one of the UK's largest logistics and transport companies, offering a complete range of logistics services including dedicated and shared-user warehousing and transport to both manufacturers and retailers, temperature controlled food logistics, reverse logistics, environmental operations management, and airside logistics.

Paul started work in the Transport and Logistics sector at the age of
16. He has held a variety of roles from LGV Repair Technician, LGV driver to
Transport Manager. Paul moved into Safety Management in 2000 and became Group
H&S Manager at NFT Distribution. Following this he has held a number of
Divisional roles in Northern Foods and also provided Specialist Workplace
Transport advice for sites operating within the Northern Foods Group.

Paul has
also been guest speaker at a number of IOSH Transport Safety events. He is
qualified to C.M.I.O.S.H. and continues to have a keen interest in Workplace
Transport Safety.

Ardo supplies it's continuously growing markets around the world with high quality frozen Fruit and Vegetables.

Jim has over 25 years experience in the food industry including previous operational roles in Unilever and Campbell's Grocery Products, Jim is also Health & Safety Champion for Ardo UK Ltd.

Graham, originally from a Countryside Management background, joined Kff in 1988. He started his career with Kff in the transport department and quickly moved into the warehousing side, specialising in developing and managing the storage, order picking and loading systems. In 1998 Graham also took on the role of Kff Health and Safety Officer reporting to Chris Beckley, Operations Director.

Mark looks after Safety and broader Sustainability issues at apetito. apetito provide frozen meals and food service solutions primarily for the community meals market. apetito meals are served at 175 NHS hospitals and enjoyed daily by over 8,000 elderly and vulnerable meals on wheels clients. Safety of product and people is very much central to how apetito do business.

Paul has worked in the transport and logistics sectors for last 25years, progressing into Health and Safety in the last 10.

This has given Paul a sound practical understanding of how both operations and the way people work within them.  It has enabled him to be able to drive forwards the health and safety team at Total Food Service. We are committed to the highest standards and staff development in safety.

Paul is currently the Group Safety Health and Environment manager for Greggs with responsibility for ensuring key SHE related strategies are incorporated into Greggs overall business plans.

Paul originally qualified as an industrial chemist and spend the first 10 years of his working life in the coatings industry. HE moved into SHE management within the chemical industry and spent 5 years managing SHE in a high risk COMAH site in the North East before moving into food and drink manufacture where he has been since 2003.

Within his profession Paul has particular interest in HS leadership and human factors, especially in relation to failure.
